I know the name of the blog is nothing new on the internet, ahem, but I chose it because I'm at an interesting point in my life where I have NO IDEA WHAT I WANT TO DO. I have a degree from Auburn University in Apparel Merchandising, Design and Production Management. Sounds cool right? I mean it totally is, BUT I'm not really sure what I want to do with it anymore...I thought I would find a cool, small company to work for; providing my creative input, working on sketches, designing mood boards and picking out color swatches, but as it turns out they aren't really handing out those jobs. WHO KNEW??
SO, I'm currently working as an associate at Anthropologie and I kinda totally love it. I mean I'm just a sales associate but I know there are lots of opportunities to move up and I definitely plan on doing so. And I'm still looking around for other opportunities (hello creative gigs!), and using the good old internet to absorb as much as possible in the design world (interior, exterior, apparel, everything) and I'm going to use this blog to show you guys what I see, what I like, what other people like, cool stuff in general.
